Kids Assortment

There are two tracheostomy tube product lines in our kids assortment: the tried and trusted Tracoe Mini and the silicone tubes Tracoe Silcosoft. The tracheostomy tubes in both these lines have been developed especially for neonates, infants and children

We have focused particularly on the flange design and the use of comfortable materials.

Tracoe Silcosoft

Tracoe Silcosoft is a soft, flexible, spiral-reinforced silicone tube in a wide range of sizes for neonates, infants and children. The tracheostomy tube with nitinol spiral is MR Conditional. Available with and without cuff and with and without proximal extension. Special features include the slightly curved flange and the large, specially reinforced eyelets, preventing the material tearing with a hook-and-loop fastener.

Tracoe H2O Cuff

When the cuff is deflated, it is close and tight to the cannula. It is filled with sterile water. The cuff serves as a seal to prevent aspiration of food and saliva from the pharynx or an unwanted escape of air during ventilation.

The obturators

The practical ring obturator is included for the standard lengths of Tracoe Silcosoft. The ring-shaped grip allows intuitive handling of the obturator for the tube insertion despite their small size and different materials.

The metal obturator for the proximally longer tubes and for the length variants of the Tracoe Silcosoft is easily visible due to the orange cap with clear marking for orientation.

Tracoe Mini

Our tried and trusted Tracoe Mini is a soft PVC tracheostomy tube for neonates, infants and children. The flange has a sloping underside to optimize the fit. A proximal extension piece suitable for the Tracoe Mini tubes is available.

The obturators

The specially designed ring obturator is extremely practical. The ring-shaped grip allows intuitive handling of the obturator for the tube insertion despite their small size and different materials.
