Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region

We are seeking a successful and enthusiastic Regional Sales Manager reporting to the National Sales Manager, Lary US. Under the general direction of the National Sales Manager, Lary US, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving targeted sales. The Regional Sales Manager will be working to continually develop a well-disciplined, well-trained, organized sales force, must secure an expanded existing business, develop new customers, and utilize all the services and support available throughout the company to meet and exceed our targeted sales number. Job Responsibilities for the Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region

  • This field-based sales position is responsible for delivering on targets in an assigned region.
  • Leadership and guidance to support Territory Sales Managers in a performance-based organization.
  • Travel with the TSMs on a schedule to ensure a minimum of two co-travels per TSM per Quarter.
  • From-time-to-time work with other RSMs or Company Staff as assigned.
  • Represent the Company at conferences, seminars, and meetings as assigned in a professional manner that will enhance the Company’s public image and reputation. These events will include some weekend coverage.
  • Develop business relationships with referral sources including clients and end-users, with an emphasis on customer retention. The client base includes surgeons, clinicians, materials management, patients, and caregivers.
  • Promote Atos Medical’s complete product line.
  • Instruct the safe and proper use of the Company’s product and report any misuse.
  • Reinforce the need for TSMs to work with the Customer Support Group in qualifying and following through with prospective customers.
  • Share relevant competitive or market information with the appropriate marketing team to ensure all stakeholders are informed.
  • Immediately report any case where a patient was believed to be harmed using Atos Medical products, including any customer complaints.
  • Personally utilized and ensure the TSMs are fully utilizing and engaged in CRM opportunities and activities.
  • Spend Company funds wisely, seeking approval in advance of abnormal expenditures.
  • Continually improve sales ability and techniques through individual study.
  • Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.


Job Requirements for the Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region

  • Education: bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Five years sales experience in medical device or professional qualifications specific to the position.
  • Employment is subject to a satisfactory background and credit check.
  • Position requires visiting clinicians in a health care facility or provider’s office where patients may be present. Tuberculosis screening upon employment and every 12 months based on exposure. Hepatitis B Vaccine is optional.
  • NOTE: Must possess valid US drives license, own or have leased a late model automobile appropriate for the position, a credit rating acceptable to extensive travel.
  • This position will incur extensive travel (60% plus).

Preferred Qualifications for the Regional Sales Manager – Eastern Region

  • Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of inside/outside sales and customer service experience preferred.
  • Clinical qualifications and experience a plus
  • Preferred Area of Sales Experience: Medical Device/Clinical
