Provox®2 Voice Prosthesis
Provox2 is a low-resistance, indwelling silicone voice prosthesis. Provox2 can be inserted:
- immediately after TE puncture (primary or secondary puncture), without need for temporary stenting. Retrograde insertion by means of the Provox Guidewire (REF 7215) is indicated and performed by a physician.
- as a replacement prosthesis for a Provox or other voice prosthesis.
Anterograde replacement, which can be performed by any trained health care professional, is usually preferred.
