Provox NID voice prostheses

Features:

• Patients may insert, remove and clean the device themselves.
• The Provox NID is attached to a strong polypropylene cord with a safety medallion that is too wide to fall into the tracheostoma.

• Provox NID prostheses are optimized for minimum airflow resistance.

  - 17 and 20 Fr outer diameter
  - 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, or 18 mm length.

The Provox NID voice prosthesis is available in two outer shaft diameters – 17 and 20 Fr – and in several lengths. Each prosthesis comes individually packaged with a non-sterile, reusable NID Inserter.

Inserter

Prior to insertion, the Provox NID prosthesis is attached to the inserter and the safety strap is securely fastened.

The inserter shaft can be bent to adjust the angle. After insertion, the prosthesis is released by simply pushing the release lever on the inserter.

A full range of accessories is available for the care and maintenance of the Provox NID. These accessories include:

• the Provox Dilator for dilation of the fistula prior to insertion;
• the Provox Brush and Provox Flush for daily cleaning;
• and the Provox NID Storage Box for convenient storage.

All accessories are available in different diameters and sizes corresponding to the diameter and length of the prosthesis used.
