But we didn’t stop there. Today Atos Medical is a market leader in pulmonary rehabilitation and tracheoesophageal voice restoration supplies for laryngectomees. We have continued to improve our voice prostheses and manufacture high-quality products to enhance our users’ quality of life. Our long experience from working with laryngectomy supplies benefits tracheostomized patients as well. We have developed and manufactured heat and moisture exchangers (HMEs) for laryngectomees for many years. But we have not forgotten about the other group of tracheostoma breathers. For them, there is TrachPhone – a state-of-the-art HME for patients wearing a tracheal cannula. In the long-term tracheostomy segment we also have a new product range called FreeVent.
