Meet Malin

Describe your job at Atos Medical:

I mainly work as a project leader for different development projects. This means that I have to keep the project running and make sure that everything is done in accordance with our routines, on time and on budget. I need to be in touch with almost all of our departments which gives me a good insight into how the company works on every level.

What is your background?

I have a Masters Degree in Engineering Physics with focus on mechanics and strength calculations. I graduated in 2001. After graduation I worked two years at the medical technology company Gambro in Lund, Sweden, and then I started working at Atos Medical in 2003.

What inspires you in your job?

The variety! I also like that I get to work with so many different parts of the company – that gives me a good idea of the big picture; how everything is connected. To follow a project from beginning to end is also inspiring.

What do you do on your spare time?

I spend time with my family. I like “traditional stuff” such as cooking and gardening. If I happen to have any time left to spare I like to sew, I have four sewing machines at home!
