About Atos Medical
Atos Medical, founded in 1986, is a dynamic and expansive Ear, Nose and Throat company whose net turnover has risen by between 20-40% every year over the last ten years. Our position as a market leader in voice and pulmonary rehabilitation for laryngectomees and in other areas has been made possible thanks to an organization that is open to change and continuous development. We are constantly studying what clinics and patients need, making extensive use of our worldwide network of exclusive distributors in approximately 55 countries, our own subsidiaries in the UK, USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Belgium, as well as doctors, research scientists and patients. The input we receive helps us to create new products and further develop existing ones. Our aim is to improve people’s quality of life with the aid of innovative solutions. We develop and manufacture reliable and cost-effective products within the ear-nose-throat area. Because we are involved in the entire product cycle – development, production, marketing and sales – we maintain the highest level of knowledge and can assure the quality of our products.
Increased Capacity
Atos Medical officially opened our new premises in May 2003. These include a new, state-of-the-art clean room (over 1.000 square meters) that meets exacting requirements and enables us to work more efficiently, thus increasing production capacity. The new building is heated and cooled by means of environmentally friendly surface geothermal heat, supplied by a vast system of underground coils. Our energy consumption is low thanks to the use of this new technology. Our development department now has at its disposal a new laboratory with sufficient capacity to undertake all the various tests and trials required for fast and successful R&D.
We are thus well equipped for our search for tomorrow’s solutions.
